J/99 DISKO TROOPER_CONTENDER SAILCLOTH WINS SYDNEY HOBART DOUBLE HANDED CLASS

Congratulations to J/99 Disko Trooper _Contender Sailcloth who has won the inaugural double-handed class in the Rolex Sydney Hobart Race 2021.
Co-skippers Jules Hall and Jan ‘Clogs’ Scholten were one of the favourites to take the doubled-handed class, due to a strong performance in the build-up to the race. In the preceding months, their results were impressive. They had won the two-handed division in the Flinders Islet Race two, they had taken the two-handed line and overall honours in the Bird Island Race, and during the Cabbage Tree Island Race they were the second two-handed boat to finish and third overall!
J/99’s from J Composites are equipped with GORI Propellers, Moonlight Hatches and BSI Rigging and hardware.
